my kids went swimming today! amazing the Scottsdale public pools closed 2 months ago, and amazing my kids went swimming on Halloween!

after a while of this and that, slides and tender attempts at the beach-entry, they both ended up fighting over the same toys. How does this happen? The pool-area is 200 yards wide and i bring a thousand toys?!?! Then after a while of this and that, they both started chasing the same toys every time i chucked them.

I didn’t set this up, it just unfolded, me subtly challenging G to go under even if its only 2.5 feet of water, Alana gettin’ in the game and pushing herself into gradually deeper water. They sense each other, that the other will if they won’t and toys will be lost. and i tickle it, and we 3 sailors are playing a game together. I am a bad man.

G called herself the dog Rainbow, and brought every rocket back to me in her mouth. Alana brought rockets back, put them in her mouth, then let them go. The dog Flower. Throw, toddle and run and splash, repeat. Making room for Halloween.
