this time with Byron. same route, better lifts, flopped off the Upper Waterfall, got the Upper Waterfall, fast fast faster down.   Got all but 2 switchbacks and stayed very loose.   i was ready for the trail.   Byron did well but is no match for the Heckler, dropped him like an empty beercan on the way down, after wrecking last night trying to hang with Rick down Tower Trail while minus 1 Heckler, and plus 1 not-secured wheel – stupid new wheelset.     we figured out almost the whole route back…next time with 15 more minutes daylight we shall enjoy a soothing ride home rather than a death-defying sprint through traffic for 3 blocks.
