We were playing, I was singing, she was jumping.   And she understood the narrative, and acted upon it. I’ve heretofore found her to be somewhat selfish when playing.   Me Me Me its all about Me!   But today she was very aware of the inter-personal dynamics.

Me: “10 little Genevieves jumping on the bed, one fell down and bonked her head”

And she threw herself onto the bed.

Me: “Mommy called the docter and the doctor said”

G:: “No. Daddy!”

Ahem.

Me: “Daddy called the doctor and the doctor said”

G: “Faster!”

Repeat.
